Advanced School on Materials for Photonic Applications: Glasses, Optical Fibers and Sol-Gel Materials

Sampa (Advanced School on Materials for Photonic Applications – Glasses, Optical Fibers and Sol-Gel Materials) is addressed to graduate students who are pursuing a Master or PhD degree in Chemistry, Physics or Engineering, in graduate programs, all over the world. The main purpose is to convey to the participants an updated overview about the recent scientific and technological advances on topics relating to processing, properties and applications in optical fibers, glasses and sol-gel materials. All lectures are given by invited speakers recognized worldwide by their scientific contributions to those fields.
