São Paulo School of Advanced Science in Precision Health: Building bridges between veterinary and human medicine

A series of interdisciplinary activities will be held to bring together multiple fields of knowledge, Master and PhD students, as well as young and postdoctoral researchers from several countries, to discuss and engage in experiences in veterinary and human medicine. Our goal is to provide in-depth learning in themes relevant to precision health via a broad One Health vision and a translational and comparative approach which could bring precision health's state-of-the-art to the fore.

The School's program will feature participation of world-renowned scientists from Brazil and abroad. We will have lectures with founders of health startups which, in tandem with the science lectures, will intensify the audience's experience of innovation. There will be technical visits to important research centers in UNESP's Botucatu campus, to Botucatu Tech Park and to Albert Einstein Teaching and Research Center. Students will have the chance to interact with speakers and event organizers by taking part in small groups or by presentation of the submitted summaries through speech or poster sessions.

The majority of the school activities will take place at the Institute of Biosciences - São Paulo State University in the city of Botucatu.
