São Paulo School of Advanced Science on Medicines: from Target to Market


A décima edição da Summer School on Medicines (SSM10) - Medicines: from Target to Market será realizada de 16 a 23 de março de 2018, em Ribeirão Preto (SP), pela primeira vez no Brasil.

O objetivo da SSM10 é promover intensa interação entre pesquisadores acadêmicos e da indústria que atuem em diferentes etapas da descoberta de fármacos, com estudantes e jovens profissionais.

Os assuntos a serem abordados incluem desde a identificação de moléculas e alvos até o lançamento do medicamento no mercado, passando por temas como ensaios pré-clínicos e clínicos, regulamentação, proteção intelectual, criação de startups, comercialização, entre outros. Também incluem discussão de casos e apresentações orais e de pôster.

As sessões da SSM10 ocorrerão na FMRP/USP e no Parque Tecnológico Supera, onde também serão realizadas visitas a laboratórios de pesquisa e startups.

O SSM10 será inteiramente realizado em inglês, tendo ocorrido anteriormente em Montreal (Canadá), Toulouse (França) e Barcelona (Espanha).

Para os candidatos selecionados, a FAPESP oferecerá auxílios integrais e parciais a estudantes de pós-graduação e jovens pesquisadores atuantes no tema da SSM10, de qualquer parte do mundo, exceto aqueles da cidade onde será realizado o evento.
